Started in 1920, Standen and Sons serve the villages nestling in and around the beautiful Mendip Hills in Somerset, England.
Today and now in its third generation, Standen & Sons continues to design and install fuel efficient, reliable, high quality plumbing and heating systems.
Since 2005 our engineers have successfully completed around sixty (estimated figure) practical and theory exams for domestic oil, gas and plumbing works.

We act responsibly with the waste our business produces: all our waste paper, cardboard and waste metals are carefully separated before being recycled and this has helped reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill.
We operate a policy of continuing improvement with regard to responsible waste management and are currently looking into ways of recycling other waste materials.
Our drivers have completed a SAFED (Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving) course to help us reduce our fuel consumption as well as the wear and tear on our vehicles.
